Kirstin Lobato was wrongfully convicted in October, 2006, of voluntary manslaughter and sexual penetration of a corpse. There is absolutely no evidence implicating her to the crime and she has a rock solid alibi. The authorities failed to properly investigate this crime leading to a wrongful conviction. Kirstin Lobato is innocent.

The Nevada Supreme Court has granted a motion to allow for a continuance for the oral arguments requested in Kirstin Blaise Lobato's case. These are now scheduled for September 9, 2014 at 11:30am PST in Carson City, NV.

Supplemental briefings regarding Kirstin Lobato's case have been requested by the Nevada Supreme Court. Kirstin's attorney, J.B. Afoh-Manin, filed supplemental points and authorities regarding new court opinions. These newly published opinions relate to issues addressed in Kirstin's petition for habeas corpus relief.
