Detained members of a logistics network of international drug trafficking

The National Police (PN), this weekend arrested eleven people suspected of belonging to a logistics network of international drug trafficking.
Among those arrested was the alleged ringleader, Antonio Ponce Manuel Espinoza, alias "Mape" 31.
Officials said the now accused of the crime of "international drug trafficking psychotropic and other controlled substances," were arrested in the tourist resort of San Juan del Sur, near the border with Costa Rica.
Glenda Zavala, chief of the Directorate of Legal Aid (DAJ) from the PN, explained that the work of the detainees was "moving around the Pacific coast, on land and at sea, the cocaine from the south and entering from Costa Rican territory, then move it to Guatemala and other countries of the North ".
Zavala said that the arrest of the accused was due to information from the intelligence agencies of the National Police.
Detainees
Of the eleven arrested ten are Nicaraguans and a foreigner of Indian origin Saduary Jason Puracal.
Among those arrested were relatives of "Mape" such as: his father Rufino Second Ponce, 56, his uncle Roger Antonio Nunez Monge spouse Paulina Camacho.
And the other defendants are: José Vicente Espinoza Spears, 27, Delvin Jesus Bolanos, 25, Manuel Antonio Flores Ramirez, 31, Ronald Sanchez Davila, 35, Omar Antonio Cerda, 26, and Antonio Hernandez Yader Velasquez.
The defendants were placed under the orders of Attorney General for prosecution. Sunday began the preliminary hearing in Criminal District Court Hearing Rivas.
The seized
At the time of the operation the police seized them four boats, communications equipment and a vehicle.
According to law enforcement authorities, the detainees were occupied six apartments which are located two in the department of Rivas and four in San Juan del Sur.
In the same houses, police found 40-caliber style weapons and shotguns 12 gauge, plus scopes, radios, GPS devices and cell phones.
They also seized four speedboats with 200 gallons of gas each.
Commissioner greater Dora Galeano, head of the Police Rivas, said that two of the boats were ready to transport drugs. In each of these boats can be stored up to 400 kilos of cocaine.
