Our Endorsed Cases section highlights cases that we either believe to be cases of actual innocence or cases that deserve additional testing or new trials. We have done extensive research in order to reach our conclusions. Please note that these cases may eventually become Injustice Anywhere featured cases if resources become available to add to our current workload or in the event that a slot opens up. Hank Skinner was convicted on March 18, 1995, for the murder of his girlfriend and her two sons in Pampa, Texas on New Year's Eve, 1993. Skinner was given the death sentence for his alleged crimes. Continue reading →
June 13, 2012: Update -  Evidence Missing in Hank Skinner Case
Jacob Ostreicher, a New York businessman, has been incarcerated for over 12 months in one of Bolivia’s most unruly prisons without being charged with any crime.
Don Miller was wrongfully convicted in 1998 for the rape of Connie Vargovich (his live in girlfriend at the time), and is currently serving a 42 year sentence. Don has a strong support base consisting of  friends, family, and supporters that are actively working to secure Don a new trial so that he can prove his innocence.

David Thorne
David Thorne was wrongfully convicted in January of 2000, and sentenced to life without the possibility of parole, for allegedly hiring an acquaintance to kill his son’s mother, Yvonne Layne, in March of 1999.
Thorne has proclaimed his innocence from the beginning, and  there is overwhelming evidence that he was falsely arrested and wrongfully convicted. Continue reading →

Rodney Lincoln is currently serving two life sentences for the murder of JoAnn Tate and the assault of Tate’s two young daughters in April of 1982 in St. Louis, Missouri. Rodney was wrongfully convicted based on a hair found at the crime scene that was attributed to him and a questionable line-up conducted by police.  Continue reading →

Brian Peixoto
Brian Peixoto was wrongfully convicted in 1996 for the murder of his girlfriend's 3-year-old son Christopher Affonso, Jr., and sentenced to life in prison in Massachusetts. Peixoto's supporters state that the child died from injuries sustained during a fall, not from child abuse, and they have four nationally and internationally recognized medical experts that support their claims. Russ Faria
Russell Faria was convicted in 2013 of murdering his wife Betsy in 2011. Faria was convicted despite the fact he had a rock solid alibi. Four witnesses testified that Faria was with them watching movies at the time of the murder. Gas station security cameras and a fast food receipt also confirm Faria’s whereabouts on the evening of the murder.
